Data Analyst – Power BI & SQL

About the role

The successful candidate will join an international Digital Engineering and Design team at the Global Engineering Center in Vadodara. You will create business reports, dashboards and analytical solutions that support engineering productivity, resource planning and strategic execution.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, cleanse, validate and analyse data from multiple enterprise systems (Power BI, SQL, SAP).
• Develop dashboards, scorecards and reports using Power BI and related analytics tools.
• Identify trends, performance gaps, risks and improvement opportunities and provide data‑driven recommendations.
• Automate reporting processes with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Support engineering performance analytics, workforce planning and KPI monitoring.
• Maintain data governance, quality standards and documentation of datasets and analytical models.
• Collaborate with engineering managers, finance, operations and global functions to translate business needs into analytical solutions.

Required profile

• B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, IT, Data Science or related engineering discipline.
• 0‑1 years of relevant experience; experience in power, energy or infrastructure projects is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a diverse, collaborative environment.
