Data Analyst

About the role

U.S. Bancorp India is seeking a Data Analyst to support business and enterprise analytics. You will collect, clean, validate, analyze, and present data from multiple sources, delivering insights that enable data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, transform, and organize data from various systems.
• Write SQL queries and use BI tools to extract and summarize data.
• Build recurring reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Perform basic statistical and trend analysis to answer business questions.
• Identify data quality issues and support validation, reconciliation, and remediation.
• Document data sources, processes, business rules, and reporting logic.
• Collaborate with business and technical partners to understand requirements.
• Present findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
• Support larger analytics initiatives led by senior analysts.
• Follow company standards for data handling, security, compliance, and governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in statistical reporting, business intelligence, or data analytics.
• Shift timing: 11 AM – 8 PM, onsite in Chennai, with at least three days per week in the office.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and collaboration abilities.
