D365 Functional Finance Consultant – Contract

About the role

Join a global Microsoft partner to help clients transform their finance operations using Dynamics 365. You will work with a collaborative team in Bangalore, delivering functional expertise and configuration services for finance modules.

Key responsibilities

• Customize and configure the D365 CE platform using Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
• Provide in‑depth functional expertise on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, evaluating customer processes against standard functionality.
• Document business requirements, perform fit‑gap analysis and design data‑migration strategies.
• Lead and facilitate meetings with technical consultants, client stakeholders and end‑users.
• Support the D365 Finance application to meet business needs and produce functional design documents for development.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a subject‑matter expert in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Proven experience developing functional specifications, configuring core financial modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, Treasury, Projects) and conducting UAT.
• Graduate or post‑graduate degree in finance or related field; Microsoft certifications are a plus.
