Cybersecurity Analyst

About the role

Capgemini is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to lead and manage vulnerability management, policy compliance hardening, and threat intelligence operations across the organization. You will ensure comprehensive asset coverage, conduct assessments, and provide executive‑level reporting on security risks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability management programs using tools such as Qualys VMDR.
• Perform policy compliance assessments and infrastructure hardening reviews.
• Prioritize vulnerabilities based on asset criticality, exploitability and exposure metrics.
• Monitor emerging cyber threats, analyse threat intelligence and support proactive response initiatives.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, manage escalations and deliver executive reporting.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in cybersecurity or information security.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Qualys VMDR or policy compliance tools; Security+ or CEH preferred.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Qualys VMDR or similar vulnerability management platforms.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, Mandiant or Recorded Future.
• Understanding of network security, cloud security (AWS, Azure) and application security concepts.
