Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to protect our digital assets and ensure a robust security posture. The role involves continuous monitoring, threat analysis, and the implementation of security measures across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security event logs to detect potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security protocols, firewall, intrusion detection and prevention systems.
• Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle.
• Respond to security incidents, manage breaches, and coordinate malware outbreak remediation.
• Maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans, and deliver security awareness training.
• Stay current with emerging threats and technologies to continuously improve security posture.

Required profile

• Proven experience monitoring security event logs and conducting security audits.
• Ability to develop and enforce security protocols and risk mitigation strategies.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with development and operations teams.
• Experience managing incident response and disaster recovery processes.
