Cyber Security Specialist – 2+ Years Experience

About the role

Relay Human Cloud is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist with at least two years of hands‑on experience to protect its systems, networks, applications, and data. You will work closely with IT and other teams to detect threats, respond to incidents, and continuously improve the organization’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, logs, and events using SIEM and other tools.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, coordinating remediation.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration‑testing activities.
• Implement and maintain security controls across systems, networks, and applications.
• Manage endpoint security, firewalls, antivirus/EDR, and related solutions.
• Assist with access‑control, identity management, and privileged‑access reviews.
• Maintain documentation, incident reports, and remediation records.
• Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CySA+ are a plus.

Required skills

• SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, IDS/IPS.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs and other network protocols.
• Windows and Linux security fundamentals.
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10, IAM, MFA, encryption.
• Familiarity with cloud security (Microsoft Azure, AWS).
• Awareness of security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls.
