Cyber Security SOC/SIEM & VAPT Expert

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security professional to lead and enhance our Security Operations Center (SOC). The role combines hands‑on incident response, SIEM management, and digital forensics to protect client environments.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and manage large‑scale SOC environments using IBM QRadar, Splunk, ArcSight or similar SIEM tools.
• Perform malware triage, network and endpoint forensics, and cyber incident response.
• Lead security service engagements, mentor junior incident managers, and oversee on‑site examinations.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans, playbooks, and crisis management procedures.
• Research, create, and maintain digital forensics scripts, tools, and methodologies.
• Analyze security alerts, create trouble tickets, and coordinate Tier‑2 investigations.
• Recommend process enhancements, counter‑measures, and mitigation controls.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SOC operations and security incident management.
• Strong understanding of attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (ATT&CK, cyber kill chain).
• Ability to mentor junior staff and guide multi‑disciplinary response teams.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills for technical and executive reporting.

Required skills

• IBM QRadar, Splunk, ArcSight (or comparable SIEM platforms).
• UEBA platforms and log analysis.
• Digital forensics and malware triage.
• Operating systems: Windows, Linux, Unix.
• Incident response planning and execution.
• Threat analysis and cyber‑kill‑chain knowledge.
