Cyber Security Officer – AI & Data Governance

About the role

The Cyber Security Officer will join the central Cybersecurity department of BNP Paribas within the ITG\CDF AI & DATA CISO team. The role focuses on managing cyber risks for the AI & IT Innovation (A3I) department and defining AI & Data cyber governance at group level.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and lead cyber risk assessments, track remediation actions and maintain a consolidated risk view using GRC tools, ServiceNow and CMDB.
• Maintain a full inventory of assets and applications, ensure completeness of security deliverables and integrate them into group processes.
• Support project teams and asset owners by embedding security requirements early, challenging architectures and promoting best practices for innovative solutions.
• Prepare and facilitate risk and cyber committees, produce reporting, KPIs and dashboards for AI & Data CISO governance.
• Assist operational teams in implementing cybersecurity measures, follow‑up on open security action plans and validate internal security controls.

Required profile

• Experience in IT risk and cyber security within a financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of cyber threats, risk assessment and risk analysis.
• Ability to work with global cyber security standards and to communicate findings to senior management.
