Cyber Security Manager

About the role

The Cyber Security Manager will be based on‑site in Bhopal and will protect GVK EMRI’s emergency response and support systems. Reporting to senior leadership, you will design, implement and monitor security policies, controls and technologies across networks, applications and data.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce security policies, standards and procedures.
• Lead incident detection, response, digital forensics and remediation efforts.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
• Review security alerts, manage access controls and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Maintain security documentation, reporting and audit readiness.
• Provide security awareness training to staff and coordinate with external auditors and partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cyber security management, threat assessment and risk analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH are highly beneficial.
