Cyber Security Engineer – OT Testing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced OT Cyber Security Testing Engineer to join Siemens’ Smart Infrastructure team. The role focuses on implementing, testing and executing cyber security solutions for operational technology environments.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, test and deploy cyber security solutions such as IDS, SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, NDR, SOC, RBAC and system hardening.
• Support sales, engineering and execution teams with cyber security requirements and tender specifications.
• Conduct internal and external cyber security training sessions.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, patch evaluation, testing and management in the cyber security lab.
• Run trials, simulations and testing for new security products and services.
• Represent Siemens at external forums, events and industry panels.

Required profile

• B.Tech/B.E in Electronics or Computer Science with at least 5 years of cyber security experience.
• Practical knowledge of ISO 27001 implementation.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, NDR, SOC, IDS/IPS, RBAC, Active Directory and system hardening.
• Networking expertise covering Ethernet switches, firewalls and routers.
• Strong understanding of OT systems, protocols, patch management, vulnerability assessment, network analysis and automation.
• Preferred certifications: IEC 62443, CISSP, CISM, CEH, GICSP, NNCE.
