Cyber Security & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Supportsoft Technologies is hiring a full-time Cyber Security & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. The role combines designing secure cloud infrastructure with hands-on vulnerability management, patching, network security and identity controls. The listed salary range is 40,000 to 70,000.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure with a security-first approach, minimising exposure to cyber threats and reducing reliance on public IPs
• Perform regular OS and application patching and identify, assess and remediate vulnerabilities across infrastructure and applications
• Keep EC2 instances and other cloud resources up to date and secure
• Review and restrict inbound and outbound firewall rules, eliminate overly permissive access and enforce least privilege
• Maintain software dependencies, runtime environments and packages, and harden systems against intrusion, malware and attacks
• Categorise risks by severity and business impact and implement remediation without disrupting applications
• Enforce strong passwords, password rotation and access control, and manage roles and permissions
• Encrypt data at rest and in transit and apply data loss prevention strategies

Required profile

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services, especially EC2, VPC, Security Groups and IAM
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
• Experience with vulnerability management, patching, system hardening, monitoring and incident prevention
• Preferred: AWS Certified Security Specialty, CISSP or equivalent certification
