Cyber Security Architect/Engineer I – GRC Focus

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Cyber Security Architect/Engineer I with a strong foundation in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC). The role focuses on cyber risk management and security exception, helping embed risk considerations into projects across a global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct cyber risk assessments and evaluate risks related to processes, services, and assets.
• Maintain and update IT risk registers and security exception records.
• Collaborate with IT and business risk domains to ensure effective risk mitigation plans.
• Develop, deploy, and refine risk metrics (KRIs, KPIs) and reporting to drive continuous improvement.
• Communicate IT risk policies and processes across all organizational levels, including senior management.
• Identify opportunities for automation and optimization within risk management and security exception processes.
• Participate in incident response activities related to cyber risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of progressive experience in IT risk management or cybersecurity.
• Advanced English writing and speaking skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working across multiple regions and time zones in a global environment.
• Self‑starter with strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST 800‑171, NIST 800‑53, CMMC, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and SOC 2.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing security controls.
