Cyber Security Analyst – Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (L3)

About the role

The Cyber Security Analyst – Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (L3) is responsible for handling escalated alerts, investigating incidents and performing vulnerability scans to ensure the organisation meets security standards and reduces risk.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse escalated security alerts, preventing potential intrusions from third‑party agents.
• Tri­age and manage security incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis and produce compliance‑aligned reports.
• Perform regular vulnerability scans, ingest threat‑intelligence feeds and recommend preventive measures.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, maintain risk registers and support compliance audits.
• Analyse log data and correlate events to uphold security policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in incident handling and security alert management.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment methodologies and penetration testing concepts.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and communicate findings clearly.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and audit processes.
