Cyber Security Analyst L4

About the role

The Cyber Security Analyst L4 will lead advanced threat‑hunting initiatives, drive threat‑modeling programs and oversee red‑team simulations to strengthen the organization’s security posture. This senior role combines hands‑on technical work with executive‑level reporting and mentorship of junior analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead standard and custom threat‑hunting activities, ensuring repeatable processes and delivering clear risk‑focused reports.
• Own the ThreatModeler‑based threat‑modeling program, producing consistent documentation, reusable patterns and actionable findings.
• Plan, execute and supervise red‑team/adversary‑simulation exercises, translating results into detection improvements and remediation priorities.
• Utilize exposure and posture insights (e.g., from Tuskira) to prioritize hunts, validate control gaps and shape security road‑maps.
• Provide L3 escalation support, mentor L2 analysts, review hunt quality and continuously improve playbooks and runbooks.

Required profile

• 8–12+ years of experience in threat hunting, incident response, red‑team or advanced security assessments.
• Proven ability to produce both deep technical analyses and executive‑ready reports.
• Hands‑on leadership or subject‑matter expertise with ThreatModeler or equivalent tools.
• Strong background in adversary simulation and translating findings into defensive enhancements.
