Customer Support Representative

About the role

Sandvik Coromant is looking for a Customer Support Representative to join its temporary team in Pune. You will be the first point of contact for global and regional customers, handling inquiries via phone, email, web and chat, and ensuring a smooth hand‑over to specialised teams when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming customer calls, emails and chat requests, collecting details and providing first‑line solutions.
• Escalate unresolved issues through the case‑management system according to SLA guidelines.
• Work with Sandvik’s ERP SAP system and integrated applications to support order‑to‑delivery processes.
• Collaborate with frontline sales to capture customer needs and route them appropriately.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and case‑management tools, turning leads into opportunities where possible.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints, documenting outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to follow defined processes and work within a global support framework.
• Motivation to learn Sandvik’s products, applications and digital solutions.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP (ERP) systems.
• Proficiency in using CRM and case‑management platforms.
• Familiarity with online/web support tools and knowledge‑base resources.
