Customer Success Associate – Commercial Accounts

About the role

As a Customer Success Associate you will focus on building long‑term strategic relationships with Datadog’s commercial customers, driving product adoption and identifying growth opportunities to ensure successful use and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Identify target opportunities, manage the full sales cycle and proactively build strategic relationships with customers.
• Handle requests from your book of business, including technical support escalations, billing questions and documentation needs.
• Adapt account‑management strategies to meet varying customer requirements.
• Advise customers on effective use of the Datadog solution.
• Monitor usage trends to uncover renewal risks and promote higher adoption rates.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams such as support, product, finance and legal.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused mindset with a drive to deliver maximum value.
• Motivated by a career in sales and eager to grow in Customer Success.
• Strong written and verbal communication with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience negotiating contract terms and handling pricing objections for upsell/cross‑sell.
• At least 2 years in a customer‑facing account role.
• Passionate about building long‑term relationships.
