Customer Service Associate – Policy Administration (Retirement Solutions)

About the role

Accenture is seeking a detail‑oriented Customer Service Associate to provide end‑to‑end policy administration for Individual Retirement products such as Traditional & Roth IRAs, SIMPLE IRAs, and Individual Annuities. The role focuses on accurate lifecycle processing, regulatory compliance, and high‑quality service to clients, advisors, and custodians.

Key responsibilities

• Process policy lifecycle events including rollovers, transfers (TOA/ACAT), exchanges, recharacterizations, and distributions (including RMDs).
• Execute policy changes such as beneficiary updates, address changes, ownership updates, annuitization, rider additions, surrenders, and reinstatements.
• Manage premium allocations, fund switches/rebalances, and loan or cash‑value requests for annuity products.
• Research and resolve servicing requests, exceptions, and breakages while monitoring work queues against SLAs.
• Coordinate with custodians, transfer agents, advisors, broker‑dealers, and internal teams (underwriting, compliance, finance).
• Prepare and deliver policy statements, confirmations, and client communications.
• Ensure adherence to IRS rules, ERISA, AML/KYC, OFAC, and privacy regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1‑3 years (associate) or 2‑5 years (analyst) experience in life/retirement operations, transfer agency, or policy administration.
• Working knowledge of Individual Retirement products (Traditional/Roth/SIMPLE IRAs, qualified and non‑qualified annuities).
