Customer Service Associate – Individual Retirement

About the role

Accenture is looking for a detail‑oriented Customer Service Associate to support policy administration for individual retirement products such as Traditional & Roth IRAs, SIMPLE IRAs and annuities. The role involves end‑to‑end processing of policy lifecycles, ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering high‑quality service to clients, advisors and custodians.

Key responsibilities

• Process policy lifecycle events including rollovers, transfers, exchanges, recharacterizations and distributions (including RMDs).
• Execute financial and non‑financial transactions such as beneficiary updates, address changes, ownership updates, annuitization, rider changes, surrenders and reinstatements.
• Manage premium allocations, fund switches, rebalances and loan/cash‑value requests for applicable annuity products.
• Research and resolve servicing requests, exceptions and breakages, monitor work queues against SLAs and proactively escalate risks.
• Coordinate with custodians, transfer agents, advisors, broker‑dealers and internal teams (underwriting, compliance, finance) to ensure accurate policy statements and communications.
• Maintain compliance with IRS, ERISA, AML/KYC, OFAC and privacy regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1‑3 years of experience (associate) or 2‑5 years (analyst) in life/retirement operations, transfer agency or policy administration.
• Working knowledge of individual retirement products (Traditional/Roth/SIMPLE IRAs, qualified and non‑qualified annuities).
