Customer Executive

About the role

The Customer Executive acts as PepsiCo’s market representative, partnering with distributors to grow sales, improve distribution and ensure product availability. You will coach sales teams, resolve market challenges, and drive execution of joint business plans.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve secondary monthly sales targets and gross revenue growth.
• Plan efficient routes to boost productivity and increase net distribution.
• Expand weighted distribution by adding SKUs to existing outlets.
• Ensure stock availability, proper rack execution, and compliance with planograms.
• Provide one‑on‑one training and monthly target setting for sales representatives.
• Monitor performance through sales reports and motivate teams with incentives.
• Manage distributor appointments, health (ROI), recruitment, and retention.
• Control expiry and stale stock by enforcing FIFO and stacking norms.
• Track timely order delivery and guarantee food compliance.

Required profile

• Experience with FMCG sales and distribution models.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Good command of the local language and basic English.
• Strong data‑driven mindset with knowledge of ROI modeling.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and people‑management abilities.
• Effective time management, critical thinking, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
