Custom Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Custom Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance bespoke software solutions that meet specific business requirements. The role involves working with modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high‑performance applications from concept through production and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, secure, and maintainable code for new features and components.
• Design, optimize, and maintain databases and data pipelines.
• Develop and maintain build pipelines, middleware, and related infrastructure.
• Perform comprehensive testing (unit, integration, UI, performance) including test automation.
• Conduct code reviews, pair‑programming, and ensure software craftsmanship.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, analysts, and stakeholders for feature planning and domain insight.
• Provide 3rd‑level support, monitor production systems, and manage releases.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• 15 years of full‑time education (equivalent to a bachelor’s degree).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with clean‑code principles and modern development techniques such as TDD, BDD, ATDD, and pair programming.
• Good communication skills and ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams.
