Custom Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Custom Software Engineer to design, develop and enhance bespoke software solutions that meet specific business requirements. The role involves using modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver high‑performing, scalable applications while focusing on automated testing and quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build custom software components across multiple systems and applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using appropriate frameworks and tools.
• Document application specifications, user guides and testing procedures.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate actively in team discussions and contribute solutions to technical challenges.
• Continuously update knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in automated testing.
• At least 15 years of full‑time education (equivalent to a university degree).
• Ability to work independently and become a subject‑matter expert.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Automated Testing.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Familiarity with scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Solid understanding of software development life‑cycle methodologies.
• Effective problem‑analysis and troubleshooting capabilities.
