Custom Software Engineer

About the role

The Custom Software Engineer will design, code, and enhance tailored software components across various systems and applications. Working within an agile environment, you will deliver scalable, high‑performing solutions that meet specific business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather and analyse requirements for custom software development.
• Develop, maintain, and improve software components using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies and iterative development cycles.
• Document designs, processes, and code changes to facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience working with OpenText ECM tools.
• Completed 15 years of full‑time education.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Effective communicator who can work collaboratively in a team setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in OpenText ECM Tools.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with coding standards, version control systems, and software testing practices.
