Java Backend Developer (5-10 years experience)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our team and drive the design, development, and delivery of high‑performance micro‑services solutions. The role involves working with modern cloud platforms and container orchestration technologies in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based backend services using Spring Boot.
• Implement micro‑service architectures and integrate them with cloud platforms such as AWS and PCF.
• Write comprehensive unit tests with JUnit to ensure code quality.
• Work with NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB) and choose appropriate data stores for each use case.
• Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams following Agile ceremonies and estimation practices.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong understanding of core and advanced Java concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot, micro‑services, and cloud platforms (AWS, PCF).
• Proficiency in writing JUnit test cases.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with container platforms OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment and quickly adopt new technologies.
