About the role
We are seeking a passionate Croissant & Bakery Chef to join our viennoiserie team in Andheri East, Mumbai. You will work hands‑on in the bakery, collaborating with kitchen leadership to deliver consistent, high‑quality pastries and croissants each day.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, roll, and laminate doughs, executing precise butter turns for croissants, pain au chocolat, and specialty pastries.
- Monitor proofing parameters, control dough temperatures, and manage bake times using commercial deck and convection ovens.
- Maintain strict food‑safety and cleanliness standards in all prep areas in line with FSSAI guidelines.
- Assist with daily mise en place, inventory checks, and waste‑reduction initiatives.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Bakery & Confectionery.
- 1–2 years of experience in bakery operations, preferably with laminated doughs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a high‑volume service environment.
Required skills
- Laminated dough preparation.
- Operation of dough sheeters.
- Proofing equipment handling.
- Commercial deck oven operation.
- Convection oven operation.
