Crew Scheduling Specialist – Mumbai

About the role

Akasa Air is seeking a detail‑oriented Crew Scheduling Specialist to manage daily crew movements at its Mumbai head office. The role ensures compliance with regulatory limits, supports logistics, and contributes to the airline’s on‑time performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily crew movement coverage, ensuring adherence to Flight Duty Time Limitation (FDTL) and enhancing on‑time performance (OTP).
• Coordinate with Network Planning and Operations Control Centre (OCC) to implement crew pattern changes within the roster window.
• Maintain crew accommodation logistics, process hotel bookings, verify invoices, and manage transportation arrangements.
• Create Passenger Name Records (PNR) for crew transfers and maintain a comprehensive database of logistics information.
• Assist line training and simulator planning for crew members.
• Conduct recurrent line checks and ensure compliance before crew deployment on online flights.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Required profile

• Graduate Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aviation, Airline Management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with network planning, OCC, and training teams.
