Credit Controller – Chinese Language Expert

About the role

As a Credit Controller you will assess and advise on the creditworthiness of prospective and existing Chinese customers, helping to minimise financial risk for the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and approve credit applications within established guidelines for companies and individuals.
• Liaise with corporate customers and internal departments to resolve credit issues.
• Negotiate payment terms on overdue accounts and support debt‑collection efforts.
• Provide routine credit‑control tasks and maintain regular contact with clients via phone and email.
• Support the sales organisation in debt‑collection matters where possible.

Required profile

• Experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Fluent Chinese language skills (written and verbal).
• Result‑driven, able to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards.
• Strong negotiation abilities and customer‑relationship focus.
• Ability to multitask and keep key priorities in focus.
