CPM Project Manager – HVAC Chiller Plant

About the role

Johnson Controls is seeking a highly experienced CPM Project Manager to lead large‑scale HVAC projects focused on chiller plant systems in Mumbai. The role involves end‑to‑end management of installation, testing, commissioning and delivery of chiller plant solutions for critical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complete project management of HVAC projects with emphasis on chiller plant systems.
• Oversee installation, testing and commissioning (ITC) of chiller plants.
• Manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting and execution.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety norms and technical specifications.
• Monitor performance, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead and mentor project teams, site engineers and subcontractors.
• Control costs, achieve billing milestones and ensure timely project delivery.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in the HVAC industry with mandatory chiller plant expertise.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale, critical infrastructure projects and handle client relationships.

Required skills

• PMP or equivalent project‑management certification.
• Hands‑on experience in installation, testing and commissioning of chiller plant systems.
