Cost Controller

About the role

The Cost Controller will design, implement and maintain cost control systems for renewable energy projects. Working closely with project managers and cross‑functional teams, the role ensures accurate budgeting, expense tracking and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and establish comprehensive cost control procedures, categories and monitoring tools.
• Prepare detailed budgets and cost estimates, collaborating with engineering and technical teams.
• Monitor project expenditures, analyse variances and generate regular financial reports.
• Implement cost‑control measures to improve efficiency while maintaining quality and timelines.
• Prepare and maintain cost documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support bid readiness, capex finalisation for international opportunities and due‑diligence of M&A projects.
• Participate in internal audits, training programmes and performance reporting for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, engineering, economics).
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in budgeting and cost control.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and meet tight deadlines.
