Corporate Tax Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join our team at the TCS Siruseri office in Chennai. The role focuses on corporate tax compliance, planning, and advisory across direct and indirect taxes, supporting both internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Regulatory compliance and tax research & regulatory updates.
• Risk assessment and internal controls.
• Stakeholder management and cross‑country client coordination.
• Process improvement and advanced problem solving.
• Preparation and filing of direct and indirect tax returns.
• Audit assignments, particularly in the media industry.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (Qualified or Semi‑Qualified) with 10–15 years of experience.
• Proficiency in core accounting standards, IFRS and GAAP.
• Extensive tax accounting experience, including filing returns and transfer pricing.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP and Oracle Accounting ERP systems.
• Strong communication skills and BPO experience.
