Corporate Legal Executive – Chennai

About the role

We are looking for a Corporate Legal Executive to join our legal team in Chennai. The role is suited for an early‑career lawyer with 1‑3 years of experience in corporate law, contract management and compliance within an IT services or corporate setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior counsel with corporate governance, regulatory compliance and maintenance of statutory records.
• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including client and vendor contracts, service agreements, NDAs, licensing and partnership agreements.
• Identify and mitigate legal and contractual risks in day‑to‑day business operations and provide legal input on projects and initiatives.
• Support contract lifecycle management, interpretation and enforcement.
• Handle legal notices, claims and dispute documentation, coordinate with external counsel and assist in case management.
• Collaborate with compliance, finance, HR, sales and operations teams as the primary legal point of contact for routine matters.

Required profile

• LLB degree (LLM is a plus) and enrollment with the Bar Council or eligibility to practice law.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience in corporate law, preferably in IT services, multinational corporations or law firms.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, commercial contracts and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
