Corporate Attorney – Tech Company

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Attorney to join our fast‑growing AI and ML platform in India. You will provide legal guidance across corporate governance, contracts, M&A, and intellectual property to support our innovative technology business.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on corporate governance best practices and compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate vendor, licensing, and employment agreements.
• Support mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and transaction documentation.
• Ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage intellectual property matters such as patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
• Provide legal counsel to sales, marketing, HR, and other internal teams.
• Conduct legal research on evolving regulations.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings when required.
• Collaborate with external counsel on complex issues.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• 5+ years of corporate attorney experience, preferably in tech or startup environments.
• Bar admission in the relevant state of practice.
• Strong knowledge of corporate, contract, and intellectual property law.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to deliver practical legal solutions.
• Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
