Corporate Associate (2-3 years PQE) – Mumbai

About the role

Wadia Ghandy & Co. is seeking a Corporate Associate to join its Mumbai office. The role is designed for lawyers with 2‑3 years of post‑qualification experience who are eager to work on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and lead on corporate and commercial transactions, including M&A, private equity and venture capital deals.
• Draft, review and negotiate transaction documents such as share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, and loan documents.
• Provide legal advice on general corporate governance, compliance and commercial contracts.
• Collaborate with senior partners and other practice groups to ensure seamless deal execution.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of post‑qualification experience (PQE) in corporate law.
• Demonstrated experience in M&A, private equity or venture capital transactions.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
