Copywriter & Social Media Manager (Geopolitics)

About the role

The Global Voice is looking for a creative copywriter and social media strategist to amplify its geopolitics brand from an Indian perspective. Based in Goa, you will craft compelling copy, shape platform strategies and drive audience growth across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Write copy for Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter) and YouTube – captions, hooks, thread openers, carousel scripts, reel scripts, and comment strategies.
• Prepare scripts and shot briefs for the video editor, ensuring each video starts with a clear hook.
• Develop platform‑specific content strategies that reflect current algorithmic trends.
• Transform geopolitics, history and Indian viewpoints into shareable, educational content.
• Implement social SEO to improve discoverability on Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.
• Track daily performance metrics (growth, reach, saves, shares, watch time, CTR) and adjust tactics accordingly.
• Identify emerging trends quickly and adapt formats before they lose relevance.
• Manage comment strategy and community engagement to maintain the brand voice.

Required profile

• Portfolio of published posts, captions or threads with measurable results.
• Demonstrated ability to write hooks that stop scrolling in under five words.
• Strong personal interest in geopolitics, history and the Indian perspective.
• Clear understanding of the nuances between Instagram, LinkedIn and X.
• Practical knowledge of social SEO beyond basic concepts.
• Fluency with AI tools for content creation.
