About the role
The Cook Assistant supports the kitchen team in preparing meals for students and staff, ensuring hygiene standards and dietary requirements are met.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to menus and dietary requirements.
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Manage kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain records of food supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a cook in an educational or institutional setting.
- Food safety certification is a plus.
Required skills
- Strong cooking and food preparation skills.
- Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
