About the role

The Government General Hospital in Vijayawada is hiring contract staff for a one‑year period. Positions include Staff Nurses, Lab Technicians, a Child Psychologist, Radiographers and Operation Theatre Assistants. Selected candidates will work under the direction of the Director of Medical Education and contribute to the delivery of quality health services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and nursing services in various wards.
• Conduct laboratory investigations and ensure accurate reporting of results.
• Deliver psychological assessments and counseling to children.
• Perform radiographic imaging procedures and maintain equipment.
• Assist surgeons and staff in the operation theatre, ensuring aseptic conditions.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification for the applied post (e.g., B.Sc Nursing, Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, Psychology degree, Radiography certification, OT assistant training).
• Eligibility for contract / outsourcing employment under the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
