Content Editor – Remote (India)

About the role

AlphaSense is looking for skilled transcript editors to convert recorded events such as interviews, webcasts and phone calls into accurate, verbatim transcripts for its clients. The role is fully remote and focused on delivering high‑quality, timely content that meets AlphaSense’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review, edit and proofread transcripts for accuracy, clarity and proper formatting.
• Identify and correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, speaker names, product names and numbers.
• Ensure contextual accuracy using in‑house dictionaries or independent research when needed.
• Organize and deliver transcripts in the required format within tight deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive content with discretion.

Required profile

• Proven experience in transcription, editing or a related field.
• Strong listening skills and ability to understand various accents and audio qualities.
• Excellent command of English grammar, syntax and punctuation.
• High attention to detail and ability to produce error‑free work.
• Proficiency with text editing and document formatting software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs).
• Familiarity with instant‑messaging, email and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight turnaround times.
• Knowledge of financial markets or industry‑specific terminology is a plus.
