Consultant – Clinical Hematologist

About the role

The organization is seeking a Consultant – Clinical Hematologist to join its team in Thane. This role is ideal for early‑career physicians (0‑3 years) with a strong foundation in clinical hematology or hemato‑oncology who are ready to manage a diverse range of blood disorders in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct OPD consultations and perform daily inpatient rounds.
• Diagnose and manage hematological disorders, including leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor patient response, and adjust therapy as needed.
• Coordinate care with the Medical Oncology department and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Supervise chemotherapy administration and provide supportive care.

Required profile

• MD/DNB (or equivalent) in Clinical Hematology or Hemato‑Oncology.
• 0‑3 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Exposure to hematological malignancies, chemotherapy protocols, and inpatient management.
• Experience in cancer hospitals or multispecialty hospitals is preferred.
