Construction Supervisor – Field Operations

About the role

The Construction Supervisor will lead field‑based construction and service operations across a defined territory in India. Acting as the primary liaison between field teams, clients, and internal stakeholders, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities between field employees and customers to guarantee smooth operations and timely service delivery.
• Plan and allocate manpower based on workload, callbacks, and project priorities.
• Conduct equipment surveys, preventive‑maintenance planning, and pre‑handover inspections for new construction and modernization projects.
• Monitor service quality, reduce callbacks, and ensure prompt closure of repair and maintenance orders.
• Enforce strict EHS compliance, lead safety audits, toolbox talks, and promote a zero‑incident culture.
• Prepare performance reports, participate in safety and quality meetings, and drive corrective actions.
• Manage client relationships, support contract renewals, and handle commercial negotiations.
• Oversee material requirements, coordinate with stores, and ensure resource availability for field operations.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5‑8 years of experience in elevator service, construction, or field operations management.
• Strong understanding of service operations, maintenance processes, and field execution in an industrial environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage clients and field teams effectively.
• Proven leadership, decision‑making, and problem‑solving abilities in high‑pressure settings.
