Construction Planning Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Planning Manager to lead planning activities for the PgMC – APCRDA project in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh. The role requires 5–8 years of experience and a degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor detailed construction schedules, milestones, and project plans.
• Track project progress against approved baseline schedules and identify delays, critical activities, risks, and schedule deviations.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad‑hoc progress reports and project updates.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and client representatives for progress data and planning activities.
• Review construction programmes, work plans, resource requirements, and recovery schedules.
• Maintain project planning dashboards, MIS, and progress records.
• Support project review meetings, presentations, and management reporting.
• Ensure timely updating of project schedules and monitoring of planned vs. actual progress.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in construction planning, project controls, or scheduling.
• Experience in infrastructure, urban development, or government projects.
• Hands‑on experience with Primavera P6, MS Project and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of construction planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and project controls.
• Experience preparing baseline programmes, look‑ahead schedules, progress reports and recovery plans.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Preferred experience in Smart City, urban development or government infrastructure projects.
