Construction Manager – Solar (UP/MP/Maharashtra)

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Manager to lead ground‑mounted solar projects across Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The role covers the full project lifecycle from mobilization through commissioning, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, quality and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules, monitor progress and proactively mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and design teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Oversee site activities including civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation works.
• Lead and manage site execution teams, contractors and sub‑contractors, allocating resources effectively.
• Act as the single point of contact for clients, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, enforce HSE protocols and ensure statutory, regulatory and contractual compliance.
• Conduct quality audits, approve contractor bills, variation claims and ensure timely invoicing and certifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical or civil engineering.
• 10–20 years of EPC/project execution experience, with at least 5 years in the solar industry.
• Experience with both ground‑mounted and rooftop solar projects preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory norms, DISCOM coordination and statutory approvals.

Required skills

• Solar EPC execution (civil, structural and electrical disciplines).
• Understanding of PV modules, inverters, transformers and switchgear.
• Project scheduling and risk mitigation.
• Implementation of HSE protocols and quality audit procedures.
