Construction Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead and manage construction activities for a Data Center project. The role involves overseeing large‑scale building construction, ensuring quality, safety and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall construction activities at the project site.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor day‑to‑day construction activities to achieve project milestones.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure construction follows approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and schedules.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, QA/QC, Safety, Procurement and MEP teams.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, bottlenecks and site‑level issues.
• Optimize utilization of manpower, materials, equipment and other resources.
• Review construction methodologies and ensure proper execution on site.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients for technical clarifications.
• Monitor workmanship quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Enforce strict safety standards and statutory requirements.
• Conduct regular site meetings and review progress with project teams.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure timely completion of works.
• Prepare and review progress reports for senior management.
• Support planning, cost control, resource planning and overall project delivery.

Required profile

• 15–20 years of overall construction experience in large‑scale building projects.
• Strong experience in Data Center projects (highly preferred) or High‑Rise building projects.
• Proven ability to manage large site teams and multiple subcontractors.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, quality requirements and schedules.
• Excellent communication, coordination, leadership and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage construction activities under tight timelines.
• Preferred candidates from Tamil Nadu or Andhra Pradesh.
