Construction Manager – Data Center Projects

About the role

vConstruct is seeking a Construction Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of data centre projects in India. You will own the project from inception through handover, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive Project Charter that defines strategy, stakeholder alignment, procurement plan, baseline schedule and critical milestones.
• Collaborate with clients to create a detailed Project Execution Plan and information flow matrix.
• Provide sequencing inputs for design reviews, drawing delivery, procurement, equipment installation and commissioning, and guide the Planning Manager in finalising master and detailed schedules.
• Prepare high‑level budgets, establish unit rates for materials and labour, and maintain a cost database reflecting market trends.
• Lead the tendering and bid support process, preparing documentation and evaluating vendor proposals.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading construction projects from concept to handover.
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, including architects, vendors and contractors.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in budgeting, cost control and tendering for large‑scale projects.
