Concurrent Audit Associate

About the role

The Concurrent Audit Associate safeguards high‑value artwork assets by performing real‑time verification of all inventory movements. The role ensures that physical stock matches system records, monitors warehouse SOP compliance, and maintains audit readiness across global locations.

Key responsibilities

• Concurrent verification of inward inventory movements
• Concurrent verification of outward inventory dispatches
• Review and validation of supporting documents and approvals
• Physical verification of inventory and artwork condition/tagging
• Weekly reconciliation between physical stock and system records
• Immediate reporting of inventory discrepancies and process deviations
• Monitoring compliance with warehouse Standard Operating Procedures
• Maintaining audit working papers and records
• Building positive relationships with internal stakeholders

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• 2–4 years of experience in audit, inventory audit, financial reporting or internal controls, preferably in consumer or art sectors
• Intermediate or semi‑qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred
• Good understanding of compliance frameworks such as COSO
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Power BI for data visualisation
• Data analytics techniques for inventory reconciliation
