Concrete Technologist – PAN India

About the role

The Concrete Technologist is a frontline specialist who supports business growth by conducting on‑site concrete trials, providing technical solutions, and converting sales leads across India. The role involves extensive travel to project sites, customization of admixture formulations, and building strong relationships with RMCs, contractors, and QA/QC personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Customize admixture formulations at site level to meet client performance requirements.
• Test formulations for target parameters and prepare sample kits for client evaluation.
• Design specialized concrete mixes such as self‑compacting and precast concrete.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑sales technical assistance on admixture products at project sites.
• Conduct on‑site sampling of admixture products to build customer confidence.
• Develop long‑term relationships with stakeholders, including RMCs, contractors, and site QA/QC officers.
• Collect and analyse competitor product samples to drive product improvements.
• Support marketing in product trials and generate market intelligence.
• Identify non‑APL stakeholders and convert them through product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with R&D for new product development based on market feedback.

Required profile

• B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Tier III/IV institutes) or equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
• Minimum 50% marks throughout education.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India; role is pan‑India and transferable.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
