Component Engineer BTV Stator

About the role

We are looking for a Component Engineer to lead the mechanical design and release of the BTV Stator for our eMachine portfolio. The role is based in Bangalore and involves close collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure high‑quality component delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the release of work products, including state‑materials, norms, production instructions and drawings.
• Manage deviations from the design kit in coordination with relevant committees (CoC, CoE, ISET, CoreMA).
• Design and develop the mechanical aspects of the stator, ensuring compliance with the design kit and interface requirements.
• Act as the primary technical contact for suppliers, handling design‑related queries and integration issues.
• Evaluate component changes for impact on functionality, assembly, quality, manufacturability, cost and schedule.

Required profile

• BE/BTech degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering.
• 8‑10 years of experience in mechanical design of automotive or electric machine components.
