Compliance & Taxation Lead

About the role

The Compliance & Taxation Lead will own the statutory and compliance backbone of IZIIZI, ensuring all financial records are clean, filed and defensible. This senior position is responsible for GST, TDS, direct tax, books finalisation and the governance layer that keeps the company audit‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end GST management including GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B, annual returns and ITC reconciliation.
• Quarterly TDS filings (24Q, 26Q), reconciliation and deposit scheduling.
• Coordinate income‑tax matters with Chartered Accountant, manage advance tax planning and review HSN/SAC tagging.
• Review and finalise accounting books monthly and annually, ensuring accurate entries and classifications.
• Maintain a master compliance calendar covering GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, PF, ESI and ensure zero missed deadlines.
• Coordinate ROC filings, PF and ESI compliance in partnership with HR/Admin.
• Lead statutory and tax audit processes, providing documentation, managing timelines and ensuring audit‑readiness at all times.
• Handle all Show Cause Notices, draft responses and maintain a live notice tracker.
• Prepare banking documentation, support debt capital requirements and manage treasury related tasks.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Indian GST, TDS and Direct Tax regulations.
• Proven experience in managing statutory compliance, audit coordination and tax filings.
• Ability to review and finalise accounting books with high accuracy.
• Experience coordinating with Chartered Accountants and handling regulatory notices.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with the capability to maintain compliance calendars and meet strict deadlines.
