Compliance Analyst – Investment Compliance

About the role

Invesco’s Center of Excellence for Investment Compliance is looking for a Compliance Analyst to support the Global Investment Compliance function from its Hyderabad office. You will monitor client portfolios against investment guidelines, address violations, and ensure adherence to regulatory and fund‑specific restrictions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor investment guidelines for client portfolios and flag active or passive violations for on‑shore teams.
• Interpret, code, test, and maintain investment restrictions for new client onboarding.
• Update restricted securities lists at the security/issuer level to prevent prohibited trading.
• Conduct periodic and transactional testing across equities, fixed income, and derivatives to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with regional and global compliance teams to document, monitor, and report compliance activities.
• Respond to queries from team members and escalate issues as needed.
• Support compliance‑related projects and initiatives.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in investment compliance, preferably with an investment advisor or mutual fund.
• Familiarity with regulations such as the US Investment Company Act of 1940 and Canadian NI 81‑102.
• Strong understanding of asset allocation, issuer concentration, credit quality, duration, leverage, and country exposure limits.
• Ability to work shift hours aligned with the Americas region (approximately 5:30 pm – 2:30 am IST).
