Community Manager – On‑Trade & Brand Advocacy

About the role

The Community Manager will build and nurture the on‑trade community for Cherrapunji Gin across Mumbai, Kolkata or Meghalaya. This role focuses on servicing existing outlets, fostering bartender advocacy and driving repeat ordering, rather than direct sales acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Serve and maintain relationships with all Cherrapunji Gin on‑trade accounts in the assigned city/state.
• Develop a strong bartender community through tastings, training sessions and regular interactions.
• Plan and execute bar takeovers, cocktail events and other brand activations in partnership with marketing.
• Coordinate stock, orders and distributor performance to avoid stock‑outs and ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor outlet performance, drive volume growth and convert listings into repeat‑ordering accounts.
• Identify and onboard new premium bars, restaurants or hotels that align with the brand.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date CRM database of outlets, bartenders and key contacts, and provide regular market reports.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in alcobev, hospitality, on‑trade or brand advocacy.
• Existing relationships with bar and restaurant professionals in the assigned region are preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Energetic, relationship‑oriented and comfortable presenting to bartenders and F&B managers.
• Organised, able to manage a large outlet universe independently and travel within the state.
