Community Manager

About the role

The Community Manager will be the face of HAIR RAP BY YOYO, fostering a vibrant community both inside the salon and across digital channels. This full‑time, on‑site position in Ahmedabad focuses on daily client interaction, brand storytelling, and strengthening relationships with local partners.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients and followers daily, responding to inquiries, feedback and reviews.
• Create, schedule and manage social‑media content that showcases transformations, events and new services.
• Plan and execute community‑focused initiatives, promotions and in‑salon events.
• Collaborate with the salon team to share client stories and maintain a consistent brand voice.
• Monitor online reviews, encourage referrals and build long‑term relationships with local businesses.
• Coordinate with marketing and operations to align community activities with overall brand strategy.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients, followers and partners.
• Experience managing social‑media platforms and online communities for a brand or small business.
• Ability to plan and execute community‑focused events, promotions and engagement campaigns.
• Basic understanding of branding, content creation and digital‑marketing practices.
• Organizational skills to handle multiple conversations, tasks and schedules in a fast‑paced salon environment.
• Previous experience in hospitality, retail, beauty or salon settings is an advantage.
• Comfortable working on‑site in Ahmedabad with flexible hours, including weekends or evenings.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is beneficial.
