Community Manager – Algo Business

About the role

Delta Exchange India is looking for a Community Manager – Algo Business to build and nurture one of the most trusted crypto algorithmic‑trading communities in the country. You will spend your days engaging with traders on Telegram, Discord, Twitter and in‑person events, turning those conversations into useful content, events and product feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Own the online community across forums, structuring rituals, moderation and daily engagement.
• Be the first responder to API and trading questions, unblock traders and escalate bugs.
• Identify and nurture power users, run ambassador and early‑access programmes.
• Plan and execute offline meetups, hackathons and strategy competitions in major Indian hubs and online AMAs, workshops and guest sessions.
• Create beginner‑friendly content such as getting‑started guides, API tutorials, strategy walkthroughs and back‑testing explainers.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation, sample code and cookbooks, writing and testing basic strategies yourself.
• Capture community pain points and translate them into structured, prioritised product feedback.
• Track global trends in agentic tooling, AI copilots and no‑code automation and feed insights back to the roadmap.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in community management, developer relations, growth or a trader‑facing role.
• Solid understanding of algorithmic trading concepts such as back‑testing, slippage and webhooks.
• Enjoys frequent conversations with traders – hundreds of interactions per month.
• Awareness of the algo trading landscape in India and globally.
• Strong written communication for tutorials, announcements and product feedback.
• Comfortable with technical material like API docs and sample code.
• Self‑starter with strong ownership, able to work in ambiguous environments and travel for events.

Required skills

• Python programming for demos and debugging.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with WebSocket APIs.
• Understanding of webhooks and their use in trading automation.
